Le Monde Journal

Le Monde Journal is a serif typeface designed by Jean François Porchez. It was originally designed in 1994 as a custom typeface for Le Monde, a popular French newspaper and then later published as a commercial font through Typofonderie. The design features large counters and is intended to be highly legible when set at small sizes. Le Monde Journal is available in five weights—regular, book, demi, extrademi and bold—with each weight available with corresponding italics.
