Panama is a serif typeface designed by Roman Gornitsky and published through The Temporary State in 2017. It was designed as a monospaced font first, but also features a proportional version that keeps the lettershapes of the original but attempts to achieve a proportional look through metrics and kerning. The uppercase characters are condensed in width, which contrasts with the lowercase which is of a normal width. The family is available in regular, bold, italic and a quirky “iranic” reverse italic style.
