FF Franziska is a serif typeface designed by Jakob Runge and released through FontFont in 2014. The design originated as part of Runge’s master thesis at the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts and Design. It mixes elements of both serif and slab serif designs, with the italic differing significantly from the roman, taking on more of a calligraphic feel. The g is quite distinctive as well, with a nearly straight link connecting the upper and lower bowls. FF Franziska is available in 10 weights with matching italics.
