Lusitana is an open-source, Old Style serif typeface that is available for free through Google Fonts. The design is based off the type found in a 1572 edition of a Portuguese poem called The Lusiads. Lusitana is intended for setting running text at small sizes, however, the version on Google Fonts does not include italics, which unfortunately rules it out as a viable body copy option.
