Noto Sans is a free, open-source humanist typeface available through Google Fonts. It was created with the purpose of supporting as many languages and scripts as possible. It is still under development and has plans to eventually support all of the Unicode 6.2 characters. The design of Noto Sans is fairly similar to Open Sans, however it doesn’t include as many weights and styles.
