Ziggurat is a slab serif typeface released by Hoefler & Frere-Jones (now known as Hoefler & Co.) in 2000. It’s a thick and heavy slab serif that was inspired by the metal types that were popular in nineteenth century Great Britain. Ziggurat is available in a single black weight with a matching black italic.
