Bodoni Poster

Bodoni Poster is a “fat face” cut of Bodoni, designed by Chauncey H. Griffith and released through Linotype in 1929. This style of typeface was popular for advertisements and posters during the first half of the twentieth century. It was also popular for grunge bands of the 1990s—the compressed style of Bodoni Poster is used famously in Nirvana’s logo.
