Financier Text is a serif typeface designed by Kris Sowersby. It was created for the redesign of the Financial Times and later released commercially. Sowersby set out to create a contemporary newspaper face that didn’t have ball terminals, drawing on the work of Eric Gill for inspiration. The family is available in four weights with matching italics as well as a corresponding display version for use at larger sizes.
