Nimbus Roman is a serif typeface released by URW in 1982. The design is based off Times New Roman and shares identical metrics. It has a sister sans-serif family, Nimbus Sans, that is based off Helvetica. A variation of Nimbus Roman, known as Nimbus Roman No. 9 L has four styles that are available for free.
