Poynter Oldstyle is a serif typeface designed by Tobias Frere-Jones and David Berlow. It was first published through Font Bureau in 1997 and later expanded with additional styles. The family comes in two optical sizes—Poynter Oldstyle Text and Poynter Oldstyle Display (shown in the specimen). The text version is available in roman, italic and bold styles, while the display version is available in three weights with matching italics, as well as narrow and condensed widths.
