Chiswick Serif

Chiswick Serif is a serif typeface designed by Paul Barnes and released through Commercial Type in 2017. The design was inspired by eighteenth century lettering from the British Isles and features high stroke contrast and italics that slope at a steep angle. The family is available in four optical sizes—poster, headline, deck and text—and is a member of the larger Chiswick superfamily, which also includes Chiswick Sans and Chiswick Grotesque.
