FF Kievit Slab is a slab serif typeface released in 2013 through FontFont. It was designed by Michael Abbink and Paul van der Laan over the span of four years as the slab companion to the contemporary humanist, FF Kievit. The design was carefully crafted to be more than just FF Kievit with slabs added on though; it was redrawn to ensure proper balance and contrast so it could stand alone as its own type family while still pairing well with its sans-serif companion.
