Newzald is a serif typeface designed by Kris Sowersby and published through Klim Type Foundry in 2007. The design was inspired by classic Dutch faces and shares similarities with contemporary faces such as Arnhem and TEFF Lexicon (a noted favorite typeface of Sowersby). Newzald is a personal favorite typeface of mine and was one of the first typefaces I ever purchased just because I wanted it rather than for a specific project. The font family is available in four weights—book, medium, bold and black—each with matching italics.
