Satyr is a serif typeface designed by Sindre Bremnes and published in 2012 through Norwegian type foundry, Monokrom. The design features a unique mix of concave and convex curves, which give it an organic, handmade feel. Despite this, it was still created with setting text in mind, and the open apertures make it easy to read at smaller sizes. There is an “unfaithful companion” to Satyr available, known as Faunus, which is intended for use at larger sizes.
