Sans-serif typefaces that draw inspiration from some of the crude and irregular grotesques of the late nineteenth century seem to be popular at the moment. I like to call them “quirky grotesques” and these are 10 of my favorites. They are perfect for adding a touch of warmth and personality to your design in cases where neo-grotesques like Helvetica might feel too cold and sterile.
