Ambroise

Ambroise is a Modern serif typeface designed by French designer Jean François Porchez in 2011. The design is a contemporary take on the classic Didone typefaces of the nineteenth century. The letter y features an unusual vertical tail and the letter g features a unique geometric shape with a tail that curves backwards. Ambroise is available in five weights—light, regular, demi, bold, and black—each in a regular width, condensed width (called Firmin) and extra condensed width (called Francois). Due to its high contrast and lack of italics, Ambroise works best as a headline face.
