Calibri is a humanist sans-serif typeface created by Dutch designer Luc(as) de Groot. It was commissioned by Microsoft for release with their Windows Vista operating system, replacing the default fonts of Times New Roman and Arial. The design feature slightly rounded corners and is intended to render well on screen using Microsoft’s ClearType rendering technology.
