Chalet is a sans-serif type family published through House Industries in 1996. The design is credited to a fictional fashion designer named René Albert Chalet (as part of a marketing ploy) but was actually designed by Ken Barber and Paul van der Laan. The family is available in three distinct variations—1960 (shown in the specimen), 1970 and 1980—each in three weights (named Paris, London and New York).
