Lapture is a calligraphic serif typeface designed by Tim Ahrens of Just Another Foundry. Although released in 2004 by JAF, the design of Lapture is based off Leipziger Antiqua, a East German typeface from 1971. One of the unique characteristics of this typeface is the introduction of blackletter shapes into a roman design.
