MAD Serif

MAD Serif is a serif typeface designed by Dries Wiewauters and published through Colophon Foundry in 2017. MAD stands for machine aided design, and the letterforms are constructed entirely out of straight lines connected on a grid. The family is available in four weights with matching italics, in both “open” and “fill” versions. There is also a sans-serif cousin available under the name MAD Sans.
