Minotaur is a serif typeface designed by Jean-Baptiste Levée and released through French foundry Production Type. The design was influenced by the Cubist movement and the letterforms are entirely made up of straight lines. This may sound like a gimmick but the typeface actually remains quite legible even at smaller sizes. Minotaur is available in three weights—light, regular and bold—each with matching italics. There is a sans-serif version available as well called Minotaur Sans.
