Adelle

Adelle is a slab serif typeface designed by José Scaglione and Veronika Burian. It was released through the TypeTogether foundry in 2009. Although Adelle was designed specifically for editorial use in magazines and newspapers, I think it makes a great font for the web as well. The web font version was recently updated to provide better rendering on screen. Adelle is available in seven weights—thin, light, regular, semibold, bold, extrabold and heavy—each with matching italics.
