Life is a Transitional serif typeface designed by W. Bilz and Francesco Simoncini for Ludwig & Mayer in 1965. The roman letterforms are fairly similar to Times New Roman but differ more in the bold weights. Life is known as a classic newspaper face but I think it is a great choice for the web as well.
