Coranto is a serif typeface designed by Dutch type designer Gerard Unger. It was initially released through TypeTogether in 2000 and then later updated and expanded in 2011 under the name Coranto 2. The typeface was designed to excel in newsprint but makes for a highly readable font on the web as well. Coranto 2 is available in two weights with matching italics as well as a headline version that features slightly condensed letterforms.
