Miller is a Transitional serif typeface family designed by Matthew Carter and released through Font Bureau in 1997. It’s considered a Scotch Roman design—a style that originated in Scotland that was popular during the nineteenth century. Miller is famous for its use in numerous US newspapers. It’s a large family that includes a special display version as well as small caps and italic small caps—a feature commonly found in historical Scotch Romans.
